The Francophonie edition 2013 was launched on the last 20th March at Karimjee hall by His Excellency the Ambassador of Republic Democratic of Congo, SEM. Juma Alfani Mpango. His country was honored after the attendance of the Francophonie Summit of Kinshasa in 2012.
After the speech of M. Mpango, the Josina Machel group of Mozambique and the Tanza-Congo Mashujaa band performed at this event.
The other activities proposed was the football tournament, the music quiz and the concert of the french group "Uptight", which gathered many attenders.
Do not miss the dictation at the French school, on the 27th of Mars at 9 p.m. at the "Little theater", the canadian movie, on the 28th of March at the Caribou Court and the Mahaleo documentary, on the 5th of April, at the Alliance française.
The football tournament : SEM. Olivier Chave, Ambassador of Switzerland, inaugurated the tournament, which gathered thousands of Francophonie partners and fans.
The French team, which was supported by SEM. Marcel Escure and many fans, played well, but loose against the Alliance française team (2-1).
In the Final, Congo’s team won the tournament by defeating "Total" team by penalties.
